Network Cabinet Frames & Racks
Network cabinet frames and racks are essential elements that shape and secure server and network equipment in data centers and IT environments. These frameworks afford the backbone for the mounting, managing, and safeguarding of an assortment of devices like servers, switches, routers, and patch panels.
Open-frame racks, which are commonly used in spaces where airflow and access are paramount, have no side panels or doors. They are most often found in climate-controlled spaces because they allow the equipment inside to run cool and are easy to service. They can be found in two-post and four-post configurations. The two-post version is often called a "frame." The open-frame rack is, of course, not a real rack until you install something in it, and at that point, it becomes a "loaded rack."
Server cabinets, or enclosed cabinets, convey a sense of added security and environmental protection. They have side panels, a front that usually has a lock, and a rear door that also often has a lock. Some cabinets also have a top and bottom, which is nice if you need to stack them. With front and rear doors that are of a similar design, the two doors can often be secured and will work with or without a key.

Industrial Enclosure Accessories and Modifications
Lighting kits
Lighting kits are often used in outdoor applications. There are many different styles of lighting kits that can be used, but LEDs have become the preferred lighting solution in the past several years.
Pressure switches
Pressure switches operate on a spring and react to the cabinet door opening and closing. They can be used for lights, intrusions alarms and exhaust fans.
Passive Air Vents
Passive air vents allow natural air circulation to flow through a cabinet providing proper ventilation.
Enclosure Fans
Enclosure air fans are used when more ventilation is required. The size of the fan will depend on the size of the enclosure as well as the amount of air that needs to be circulated.
Air Conditioners
Air conditioners are used when ambient air circulation is inadequate to cool the cabinet. The air conditioner size will depend on the enclosure size, ambient air temperature and heat generated within the cabinet.
Heaters
Heaters are used when a cabinet is located in areas that may be exposed to cold temperatures.
Locking Mechanisms
Locking mechanisms are used to secure cabinets.
Conduit Hole Seals
Conduit hole seals are used on cabinets that have holes that need to be plugged after conduit has been removed.
