Description
Dwyer DDB53 is a non-spring return direct coupled actuator with a temperature range of -22 to 122°F (-30 to 50°C). It has an accuracy of ±5% and is available in 110 VAC, 24 VAC, and optional 230 VAC power options. The enclosure material is NEMA 2 (IP42) and the electrical connections are made through a terminal block. The actuator has a power consumption of 5.5 VA (DDB) or 7.5 VA (DDD) and comes with standard accessories such as imitative baffles, baffle setscrews, and a setting bracket. It fits shaft diameters of 0.4-0.75" (10-20 mm) and has overload protection through a magnetic clutch. The angle of rotation is mechanically adjustable to 95° and has running times of 66-143 seconds depending on the torque. It has a visual position indicator, supports both clockwise and counterclockwise rotation, and has a manual override push button. The control input is either two-position or floating for DDB models, and 4-20 mA or 0-10 VDC for DDD models. The life expectancy of the actuator is 60000 full cycles and it produces a sound level below 45 dB.
