7100025308 - Lapping & Polishing Pads (3M461X) are plain back discs made of Silicon Carbide with a 15 μm micron grade. These pads are designed for use in ceramic fiber optic connectors, fiber optic connectors, and optical applications. They have an overall diameter of 5 inches (127 mm) and can be used on various substrates such as ceramic, glass, high-hardness metal, metal, plastic, and silicon carbide. The pads are part of the 461X series and are used in the first step of the polishing process for de-nub/epoxy removal and cut angle. They comply with RoHS 2011/65/EU specifications.
