These modular sensors come with plug-in components, facilitating maintenance, reducing downtime, and inventory management. They are available as two-wire sensors with AC/DC operation or four-wire sensors in AC or DC styles, with connection options including terminal, mini-connector, and various cable lengths. Notable features include selector switches for light or dark operation, the option for logic modules for additional control functions, rugged construction suitable for industrial environments, and Viton gaskets for chemical resistance. The sensor heads can be rotated to four positions, and the components are interchangeable with E51 proximity sensors.
