MDS SD9 ES F Band 880-915 MHz(Wide) (Din Rail Mount) SD09-MDFESNNDNN Licensed Managed Serial Licensed Radio. 1 Ethernet data port and 2 Serial data ports with 1 port 9710 Emulation (Ethernet AES-128 Encryption) 5 watt, 10v-30vdc with data rates to 19.2 Kbps at max range of 50 miles, sensitivity of -112 at 1x10-6 BER. with 1 Active Ethernet Port and 2 Active Serial Ports. High speed, up to 65 Kbps in 50 KHz channel. Programmable RS232/485. Includes authorization for remote management access, AES 128 Encryption, and VRC. Defaults to 9710 emulation mode. Supports packet and transparent modes and IP/Ethernet bridging. Temperature range of -140 to 158 degrees fahrenheit. With bands of A 820-870 MHz(Wide), B 928-960 MHz(Wide), C 880-915 MHz(Wide), D 300-360 MHz(Wide). The MDS SD Series are industrial wireless solutions that provide long distance communications over licensed radio bands, allowing users to interface to both Ethernet and serial devices such PLCs, RTUs and meters with host monitoring and control systems. The SD’s Media Access Control (MAC) is optimized to reduce Ethernet overhead and preservF Bandwidth for higher usable data speed. The IP Payload feature removes unneeded Ethernet frames to shrink messages and improve throughput. MDS SD Series radios can be directly added to existing MDS x710 and x790 systems, providing both "drop-in" compatibility for expansions and replacements, and adding Ethernet support.
