Benshaw Selector Switches

Benshaw selector switches are manually operated controls used in motor control systems, control panels and automation equipment to offer reliable method of selecting modes of operation. They are used where an operator needs to select a mode such as On/Off, Forward/Reverse, Local/Remote or multiple positions. Benshaw selector switches are used to help the operator of a machine to intuitively and safely operate a machine. Benshaw selector switches are used for many different applications, including motor control, conveyors, pumps, blowers, HVAC and anywhere a selector switch may be used to control a motor or other electrical device.

Benshaw selector switches are constructed to meet the needs of the demanding industrial environment. The housing and actuator are ruggedly designed to withstand the rigors of repetitive operation and harsh environments. The switches are available in multiple positions, poles and actuator configurations to suit the specific requirements of an application. They offer a consistent positive tactile and switch action. The switches are designed to be easily installed and maintained.  The switches are commonly used on Benshaw motor control centers (MCC’s), variable frequency drive (VFD) panels, and custom control systems where the selection of a mode of operation is critical such as start/stop, safety interlock and process control.
