Description
The 3M Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 2216 is a gray epoxy adhesive kit designed for bonding, potting, sealing, and encapsulating applications. It is suitable for industries such as construction, electronics, and metalworking. With a work time of 90 minutes and a full cure time of 7 days, it offers a shear strength of 3200 psi. The adhesive has an open time of 90 minutes at 72 °F and a maximum operating temperature of 350 ℉. It is flame retardant (UL94 HB) and can be used both indoors and outdoors. The set time is 8-12 hours, and it has a hardness of 50-65 Shore D. The mix ratio by volume is 2:3 (Base: Accelerator).
