3M Heat Shrink MDT Tubing is a heavy-duty, self-extinguishing heat shrink tubing that is designed for various applications in access networks, long-haul/metro loop networks, and wireless networks. It is made of black polyolefin material, with an overall length of 48 inches (1.22 meters) and an inner diameter of 2 inches (50.8 mm) before shrink, and 0.66 inches (16.93 mm) after shrink. It has a shrink ratio of 3:1 and a maximum operating temperature of 230 ℉ (110 ℃). This heavy wall tubing is flame retardant and offers excellent chemical resistance. It has a minimum shrink temperature of 250 °F (121 ℃) and is adhesive lined with a hot melt adhesive layer. Its tensile strength is 2400 Pound-Force Per Square Inch and it offers an elongation of 4.75%. Operating temperature range is -67 °F to 230 °F (-55 °C to +105 °C).
