Description
3M Tubing & Molded Parts, catalog number 8429-9, is a black EPDM rubber product designed for insulation, mechanical protection, and repair applications. With an overall length of 9 inches (228.6mm), it can withstand a maximum operating temperature of 90 ℃ (194 ℉). It accommodates conductors ranging from 900 kcmil to 1000 kcmil (456 mm² to 500 mm²). This splice has a cold shrink design, works at low voltages up to 1kV, and can be used with power cables.
