Description
3M 7100099848 Earplugs are designed for hearing protection with a high attenuation rating of 29.0 decibel, reducing sound exposure in noisy environments. This product is made of foam material and comes in a regular size with a bullet shape for comfortable insertion. They are electrically insulated, dielectric, and have a roll-down insertion style. The corded version features a red cloth cord for easy retrieval. These earplugs are not moisture resistant and are not metal detectable. They are not reusable and do not require a dispenser.

However, 3M makes no warranties as to the suitability of the NRR for this purpose. 3M strongly recommends personal fit testing of hearing protectors. Research suggests that users may receive less noise reduction than indicated by the attenuation label value(s) on the packaging due to variation in fit, fitting skill, and motivation of the user. Refer to applicable regulations or guidance on how to adjust attenuation label values. It is recommended that the NRR be reduced by 50% to better estimate typical protection
