Sola Y5000 - The SolaHD SBE Series Industrial Control Transformers are designed as open-style transformers with copper windings. They are available in larger VA (1500 - 5000) sizes and provide voltage regulation that exceeds NEMA recommendations while maintaining a temperature rise of 55°C or lower. These transformers are particularly well-suited for applications where 80% or more of the load components consist of electromagnetic devices. Key features include interleaved copper windings for reduced I2R losses and improved efficiency, ratings for 60 Hz operation (unless noted 50/60 Hz), compliance with electrical requirements of NEMA, ANSI, NMTBA, and JIC standards, a 55°C temperature rise, and a 105°C insulation system.
