Nidec FF100E1XS - The Special Application Three Phase, Open Drip Proof (ODP) motor is UL® listed for fire pump applications according to NFPA® 20 standards. It features Class F insulation with Class B rise at service factor. The frame material varies with rolled steel for 250-320 frames and cast iron for 360-440 frames. The end shields are made of aluminum for 250 frames and cast iron for 280-440 frames. The nameplate is premasked Mylar for 250-320 frames and stainless steel for 360-440 frames. It has a 40°C ambient temperature rating and complies with NEMA® Design B performance on 60 Hertz sine wave power. The bearings are regreasable for 180 frames and larger, double shielded for 250-400 frames, and open for 440 frames. Lifting provisions are available for 210 frames and larger. It is suitable for wye-delta start for 250 frames and larger and has dual voltage ratings for part winding start on low voltage. The 230/460V ratings comply with NRCan standards and are dual plated for 190/380V 50 Hertz operation at the next lower horsepower. It includes an oversized connection diagram.
