Description
The Pipe Mount probe is specially designed to fit pipe contours of 1” diameter or less. The unique shape of the probe allows for a strap to securely install the sensor to against a pipe. In addition, the convex contour aids in the temperature transfer, allowing for a more accurate signal.

Features
The ACI Thermistor Pipe Mount Series features a 1.1” long Brass probe with a small curvature on the bottom that is designed to increase the surface area and improve the thermal conductivity between the pipe and the sensor
Each sensor has two, 24 inch 22 AWG Etched Te on colored lead wires to di erentiate the many di erent sensor types
All sensors in this series are manufactured using ACI’s proven double encapsulation process to eliminate the e ects of moisture upon the sensors and to improve the thermal response times using our high quality, thermally conductive epoxy
The Pipe Mount sensor should be used to monitor pipe or coil sizes from 1/2” to 1” in diameter
A 7.5” nylon wire tie is supplied for fastening the sensor to the top of the pipe
For best accuracy and increased thermal conduction between the pipe and sensor, ACI recommends to clean the pipe and to apply thermal grease between the sensor and pipe before securely fastening to the pipe and insulating the sensor from any e ects of the ambient air
