SCADAPack PLC Cables

SCADAPack™ PLC cables, also known as intermodule cables, are ribbon cables designed to connect SCADAPack Smart RTUs with SCADAPack I/O expansion modules. These cables distribute both power and communication signals across the SCADAPack I/O bus, ensuring reliable data transfer and system operation. Available in multiple lengths ranging from 2 inches to 72 inches, they support flexible panel layouts and efficient system expansion.

SCADAPack Smart RTUs combine the communication and monitoring capabilities of a traditional RTU with the processing power and data-logging functionality of a PLC. They are commonly used in remote and harsh environments such as oil and gas production sites, water and wastewater facilities, and energy infrastructure. SCADAPack PLC cables are designed to support these demanding applications by providing dependable interconnections between RTUs and expansion modules.

SCADAPack I/O expansion modules allow systems to scale beyond base configurations, supporting hundreds of digital and analog I/O points as well as counters, simulators, and communication modules. Properly selected intermodule cables ensure stable power distribution and consistent communication across all connected modules, regardless of the communication protocol or system size.
