When Activated, The Shunt Trip Module Sends A Signal To The Trip Unit To Open The Breaker. This Allows The Trip Unit To Record, Display, Distinguish And Communicate (In Microversatrip™ Pm Trip Units) That The Opening Event Was Initiated By The Shunt Trip Device. The Shunt Trip Is Continuously Rated And Requires No Cut-Off Switch. When Energized, The Shunt Trip Supplies +24vdc Power To The Trip Unit To Power The Display
