The cable is designed to meet international standards IEC 62196-2 and SAE J1772, making it suitable for charging electric vehicles via type 1 vehicle charging inlets at alternating current (AC) voltage levels of up to 250V AC, permanently connected to a vehicle via a vehicle charging connector.
