It can serve as primary protection for feeders, mains, tie circuit breakers, and backup protection for transformers, high voltage lines, and differential protection. The relay features comprehensive current, voltage, and frequency protection and metering capabilities in a compact design. With multiple current and voltage inputs, it offers various protection functions such as directional overcurrent, voltage restraint, sync check, reverse power, reverse vars, and more. The relay's programmable logic functions are suitable for various transfer schemes. It provides autoreclosing logic for transient faults and a maintenance mode for enhanced safety during maintenance work.
