ADSL-2401MSVR1-A Industrial Modem-Router supports ADSL, ADSL2 and ADSL2+. The ADSL-2401 modem can be used to replace dial up or leased line modems for high speed Ethernet communications while supporting serial communications. The modem can be connected to existing telephone line just adding DSL service to the line. It has 1 Ethernet port that can be used while using 1 Serial port either RS485 or RS232.(5.62"H x 1.5"W x 3.74"D) The ADSL-2401 can be used for access to public networks. But it can NOT work point-to-point. Only in combination with a DSLAM (access unit for multiple ADSL connections). USA Annex A and Europe Annex B have downstream rateso upt to 24 Mbps and upstream data rates up to 2.5 Mbps. ADSL modems support ADSL,ADSL2,ADSL2+ and can be powered fro DC or AC power souces and include an Ethernet and Serial port. Operating temperature of -40 F to 167 F. Ethernet port supports 10/100 baseT and Auto-MDI/MDIX and SCADA protocols like Modbus/TCP,DNP3/IP and IEC60870-5-104. Serial port RS232/RS485 interface for data rates from 300 to 115.2 Kbps and support serial data TCP/IP or UDP/IPand SCADA protocols like Modbus RTU/ASCII,DNP3 and IEC60870-5-101.
