It can be used for LLM-336R and DLM-336R modem rack cards operating in asynchronous serial data mode. The UCF-16.3 card frame allows for flexible housing of a mix of various MuLogic products,without a PSU or with a single or dual PSU. The screw terminal sockets (2 per panel),allow for a very flexible power supply arrangement,such as "daisy chaining",feeding from different sources,looping etc. All MuLogic rack cards can be powered directly from 9-36Vdc (10-28Vac) or 18-72Vdc sources. If these voltages are not available,mains power supplies can be mounted inside the rack,in an additional UCF-16.3 rack or standalone (e.g. DIN-rail mounted PSUs or AC transformers).
