Industrial Beacons
Industrial beacons are vital signaling devices whose main function is to enhance safety and communication in industrial environments. These light-emitting signaling devices project much brighter, much more visible light—usually combined with some sort of flashing or oscillating light pattern. With a choice of at least 10 different colors, these portable traffic lights can "say" a number of things—ranging from "All clear!" to "Danger ahead!" and "Proceed with caution!" They are built to last—ingress protection (IP) ratings for beacons usually start at IP65 and go up to IP68, which means they are pretty much water-proof and dust-proof.
Flashing beacons are a perfect solution when visible warnings and alerts are needed in any automation industry installation. Their most common application is signaling hazards, though they are sometimes called upon to indicate operational statuses or to draw attention to certain areas or pieces of machinery. When used correctly, flashing beacons ensure safety and efficient communication in the environments where they are found.
