Shelf Enclosures

Interior components are easily added at any time to a modular enclosure. These include: shelves and sliding shelves, drawers and trays. The flexibility provided by a modular enclosure allows for easier installation and removal of internal components as needed.
Hoffman Stainless Steel Folding Shelves support monitoring units, laptop computers and other equipment used with programmable controllers. The shelves can be installed on the outside or inside surface of larger Hoffman industrial enclosures (except PROLINE). When not in use, the shelves fold down and project 1 inch from the mounting surface. The shelf has a load rating of 150 pounds.
Hoffman Frame Pull-Out Shelves allow easy access to shelf-mounted devices. The shelves mount to the front and rear frame uprights of PROLINE enclosures. They are made of 16 gauge steel with a load rating of 110 pounds.
Hoffman Vented Frame Shelves mount to the vertical hole pattern on a frame and provide a stationary surface for equipment. The shelves are made of 16 gauge steel.
Hoffman Printer Shelves mount directly to a PROLINE frame and are used for supporting continuous feed printers. The entire unit slides out 17 inches from the enclosure for easy access and the paper shelves are vertically adjustable.
Hoffman Rack-Mount Sliding Shelves fit 19 inch and 23 inch rack spacing and adjust to fit multiple-depth enclosures and rack angle placements. The shelves are made of 14 gauge steel and have a load rating of 150 pounds with four corner mounting, and 75 pounds with 2 post or front-rack-angle cabinet mounting.
Products
Common modifications or accessories that are used to enhance electrical cabinets.
Lighting kits. Lighting kits are often used in outdoor applications. There are many different styles of lighting kits that can be used, but LEDs have become the preferred lighting solution in the past several years.
Pressure switches. Pressure switches operate on a spring and react to the cabinet door opening and closing. They can be used for lights, intrusions alarms and exhaust fans.
Passive air vents. Passive air vents allow natural air circulation to flow through a cabinet providing proper ventilation.
Enclosure fans. Enclosure air fans are used when more ventilation is required. The size of the fan will depend on the size of the enclosure as well as the amount of air that needs to be circulated.
Air conditioners. Air conditioners are used when ambient air circulation is inadequate to cool the cabinet. The air conditioner size will depend on the enclosure size, ambient air temperature and heat generated within the cabinet.
Heaters. Heaters are used when a cabinet is located in areas that may be exposed to cold temperatures.
Locking mechanisms. Locking mechanisms are used to secure cabinets.
Conduit hole seals. Conduit hole seals are used on cabinets that have holes that need to be plugged after conduit has been removed.
