Enclosure Panels & Swing-Out Panel Accessories
Enclosure backplates and panels are offset from the back of the enclosure allowing electrical devices to be mounted without compromising the integrity or NEMA rating of the enclosure. Most back panels come with pre-cut holes to match the mounting holes in the enclosure. These interior panels can also be removed or replaced, allowing the components to be easily worked on, without uninstalling the entire electrical cabinet. Back panels are made of steel, fiberglass, aluminum, wood, galvanized steel, painted steel, as well as composite materials. Enclosure swing out panels can be mounted near the front of the enclosure for easy access to switches, gauges, pilot lights and other components that need to read or adjusted.
Hoffman Swing-Out Mounting Frames are available for mounting 19 inch rack mounting equipment. The frame pivots within the enclosure to allow access to the back of the mounted equipment. The frames can be positioned anywhere along the horizontal mounting channels.

Hoffman Panel Support Braces provide additional support to single and double bay panels in heavy loading applications and minimize the vibration created by components mounted on the panel. The braces can be installed on existing systems without removing the panel.
Hoffman EZ-Load Glide Blocks are included with every PROLINE G2 Full Mounting Subpanel and PROLINE G2 Industrial Packages. The four blocks can be used to load a subpanel vertically from the front, rear or side and they can be used to load a subpanel while it is horizontal. The blocks ensure that the subpanel is securely bolted to the frame in all four corners of the enclosure.
Enclosure Swing-Out Panels
Internal swing out panels are used to mount and protect electrical equipment, rather than mounting the equipment to the outside door of an enclosure. A good way to think of a swing out panel, is to consider it as a second door on an enclosure.
Internal swing out panels protect equipment from vandalism and unauthorized use. HMI screens, push buttons, switches and various other equipment that is mounted to the outside door of an enclosure are not secured.
Swing out panels provide an extra barrier to protect operators. Concealing the hardware with a swing out panel provides a barrier between the operator and all of the equipment located behind the panel. The swing out panel provides access only to the hardware necessary for operation.
Swing out panels are an ideal place to mount OIT screens, indications lights and digital monitors. This provides valuable information in a way that is easy for the operator to see when working in and around the panel
