Nidec ASQ225H - The AQUA-SHIELD® EZ48® Square Flange Pool and Spa Motors are designed for pool and spa applications. These motors feature a switch design, 5.5" frame diameter (Category "S"), and high efficiency capacitor start/run design. With a two-compartment construction, sealed ball bearings, and triple bearing protection, they offer durability and reliable performance. The motors are thermally protected, Class B insulated, and operate in a 50°C ambient environment. They have a 300 series stainless steel shaft and a voltage selection device for flexibility (dual voltage only). With optimized internal airflow design and additional layers of drive/pump end bearing protection, these motors minimize heat, moisture, and debris buildup. They are available in various horsepower options and can be used with PENTAIR Max-E-GLAS® & DURA*GLAS® replacement motor base.
