Moxa modular switches are scalable, high-performance, and flexible industrial Ethernet switches that provide customized port configurations, fiber modules, and network expansions to address the changing requirements of mission-critical applications. Modular switches provide the network redundancy and reliability needed to meet the demands of process control, manufacturing, transportation, and power distribution. Moxa modular switches support industrial automation protocols, including EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and Modbus/TCP, as well as advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 features and redundancy protocols to ensure high network availability and fast network recovery in environments where system downtime is unacceptable. Modular switches support SFP fiber modules and provide network expansion modules that can be added as required to expand the number of network connections.
