nVent Hoffman Enclosure Heaters

nVent Hoffman enclosure heaters are electric convection or fan-forced resistive heaters meant for permanent installation inside a Hoffman enclosure. They are used to control the temperature inside an enclosure, prevent condensation and moisture damage, and/or prevent freezing inside an electrical, electronic, or industrial enclosure. Applications include outdoor enclosures and panels, high-humidity areas, and enclosures subject to occasional washdown, weather, or cold temperatures (freezing protection). Enclosure heaters, also known as panel cabinet heaters, heat the air inside an enclosure to a temperature above the dew point of any internal components or surfaces. They keep the inside dry even when cooling is not required due to the dissipation of heat from circuitry.

Hoffman enclosure heaters may be tubestyle, compact mini-heater bricks, or convection/fan-forced units. They're used in industrial automation, control, lighting and power, process, instrumentation, utility, water/wastewater, and many other Hoffman enclosure applications. nVent Hoffman enclosure heaters are designed to fit and mount easily inside their enclosures while preserving NEMA enclosure protection ratings. Hoffman heater options include units for UL/CSA Standards. The nVent enclosure heater paired with a Hoffman enclosure/box thermostat or hygrostat can provide energy-efficient control to maintain lighting, electrical, automation, detection, control, alarm, monitoring, AC, and DC panels at a temp above freezing or the relative dew point.
