Dwyer WD3-LP-D2-30 is a water leak detector with a temperature range of 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C). It can be powered by a 3V CR2450 lithium metal battery or 24 VAC (±10%) or 11 to 27 VDC. The enclosure is watertight up to 3/4 of the body height for audible alarm models and NEMA 6P (IP68) submersible for non-audible alarm models. The housing is made of ABS and polycarbonate with a flammability classification of UL 94 V-0. It has a 4.9' (1.5m) UL plenum rated cable for electrical connections. The water leak detector is suitable for use with water or conductive fluids. The power consumption varies depending on the model - 0.9mA steady state / 3.0mA during an alarm condition for battery-powered models and 30mA steady state / 85mA during an alarm condition for external powered models. The electrical rating is 250mA @ 24VDC for battery-powered models and 1A @ 24VAC/DC for external powered models. The switch type is SPST NO SSR for battery-powered models and DPDT relay for external powered models. The battery life is 5 years steady state and 48 hours during an alarm condition. The audible alarm produces a sound of at least 85dB at a 1' distance, and there are also visual alarms - a red LED for water level, yellow LED for low battery (battery-powered models only), and green LED for power condition (external powered models only). The minimum sensing gap is 1/32".
